Volunteer Opportunities

ACTS operates totally on volunteer staff. Those who volunteer at ACTS are the most valuable assets of our community services project. They come from all walks of life, religious, ethnic and professional backgrounds. Working together, they strive to serve the community and to help the poor and hurting by providing food, clothing and household items as the need arises.

By assisting with donations, sales, filling client orders and talking with those who come to the shop for friendship, volunteers are helping to reach the vision of ACTS. Our vision is to provide and maintain a Christ centered lifestyle center that includes services to help physical, emotional social and spiritual needs of individuals who seek those services. Our volunteers are a network of individuals who focus on helping the poor and hurting. Without our volunteers, our community services project at ACTS would not exist.

Our volunteers work as little or as often as they have time to commit; for some it is as little as three hours per week or month and for others, it is several days per week.
